TELUS World of Science is located at 1455 Quebec Street. It’s easy to get to on public transit via Skytrain or bus (Routes 3, 8, 19, and 23)  to the Main Street–Science World SkyTrain Station. Pay parking is available at TELUS World of Science and in nearby public lots.


Science World is committed to continuously improving visitor experience within the building and strives to make a visit to TELUS World of Science accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Science World’s complete accessibility details can be viewed here.

Parking: There are six wheelchair accessible spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis in the parking lots located to the north and south of Science World at TELUS World of Science. Ramps are available to access the sidewalk.

Automated Entry and Exit Doors: Science World has button-operated automated entry doors and a fully automatic exit door.

Aides and Caregivers Discount: One adult aide supervising one visitor with disabilities receives complimentary daytime General Admission (1:1 ratio). OMNIMAX films are still subject to the upgrade fee.

Wheelchairs and Strollers: Science World has a limited number of wheelchairs and strollers available to borrow, free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. A piece of ID must be left as collateral until the wheelchair or stroller is returned.

Ramps and Elevators: Science World has ramps available to access the first and second-floor gallery levels, as well as the OMNIMAX® theatre on the fifth floor. In addition, there are two elevators available. The elevator in the Connection Zone (near the lobby) runs between the first and second floors. The elevator by Centre Stage runs between the first floor, second floor and fifth-floor OMNIMAX® level.

Service Animals: Science World welcomes trained service animals accompanying visitors with disabilities. Upon arrival, please identify your service animal to their Admissions staff.

Washrooms: All public washrooms are equipped with baby change facilities and most are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the washrooms on the OMNIMAX® ramp. An adult change table is available in our First Aid room. Please ask a staff member or volunteer to contact First Aid to access this room during your visit. Regarding the bathroom amenities, visitors are encouraged to use the facilities that make them the most comfortable. There are gender-neutral, accessible family restrooms in the following locations, which are available to all if that better meets a visitor’s needs:

  • first floor atrium
  • second floor BodyWorks gallery
  • second floor Wonder gallery
  • fifth floor OMNIMAX® level
