Flavourful Science brings excitement and interest to STEAM! They show kids that science does not have to be something foreign that is done in a lab, but instead something everyone can do. With the input of renowned educators, they explore important topics of STEAM through the art of cooking and relevant real-life applications demonstrated and taught through something everyone is connected to: food. Flavourful Science lessons are currently being held at SuperChefs Kids Camps in Surrey and are featured at various events in B.C. Flavourful Science grade 10 curriculum will soon also be integrated in highschools as a supplemental curriculum for high school teachers!
Flavourful Science was created by Norbert Banyi, a second-year student UBC science student who has had a passion for both cooking and youth outreach from the age of 13.
